The Tamarind Man’s Jam is a collection of tamarind jams and drizzles inspired by an authentic recipe by a man born in 1926, our grandpa! Grandpa Inh Chanthala was born in a small village in Laos and was the youngest of many siblings. He was a soldier who learned how to cook for other soldiers.

His signature dishes included pork meat jello, grilled lemongrass tea, and coconut tamarind jam! Growing up Lao in America, sticky rice and tamarind jam was our favorite things to eat. We celebrate his memory by sharing these jams with everyone across the world. Many people who have tasted our jams say it reminds them of their childhood from around the world.
